The LSA3.1 is a rechargeable, battery-powered controller designed for ion pumps. It features a built-in pressure display and is calibrated to measure vacuum levels in mbar for SAES™ NexTorr pumps (models D100-5, D200-5, D300-5, and D500-5).

An acoustic alarm alerts users to low battery levels, and the controller includes a Pt100 sensor input for temperature measurements. This makes it suitable for LN2-cooled sample stages in Cryo-UHV-suitcases or for monitoring bakeout temperatures.

With ~45 hours of battery-powered operation for the ion pump (depending on pressure etc.), the LSA3.1 ensures reliable performance. The NEG part of the pump operates independently of the power supply.

Configured for diode ion pumps with positive output polarity, the LSA3.1 provides a straightforward setup for your ion pumping needs.
