Linear/Rotary Feedthrough DN40CF

We recommend MD40 miniature linear-rotary feed-throughs as compact motion feedthroughs for short and intermediate linear travel ranges up to 500mm travel. Typical applications include movable sample parking lots, load lock transfer arms and retractable heating stages. An adjustable stop ring can be set at a specific linear position and a thumb screw is provided to lock the outer magnet. Due to its high torque of 0.5Nm and linear force of 30N, considerable force can be transferred to any gear inside vacuum if necessary. A high torque version with 1Nm and 60N is also available.

  • Standard stroke: 0100 / 0200 / 0300 / 0400 / 0500mm
  • Standard retracted length: 0030mm
  • Customized stroke: Specify XXXX Min. 50mm / max. 700mm
  • Customized retracted length: Specify YYYY Min. 10mm / max. 250mm

Standard Example: MD40-0300-0030 = Linear/Rotary Feedthrough DN40CF, 300mm linear travel, retracted shaft length 30mm.

Customized Example: MD40-0650-0075 = Linear/Rotary Feedthrough DN40CF, 650mm linear travel, retracted shaft length 75mm.

Rotation Lock/Limitation Adapter for Linear/Rotary Feedthroughs with Tube Support

When mounted on the air-side handle, two radially oriented pins are defining and limiting the rotation of the MD feedthrough. Free rotation of the shaft can be adjusted from close to zero up to a maximum of 346°. This option requires a TSMDH tube support.
