  • The EXSICA2W Vacuum Exsiccator is designed for convenient and reliable storage of sensitive samples in a controlled vacuum or inert gas environment. Its fully transparent PMMA GS construction provides clear visibility of stored items, while the extra-wide, rigid design ensures secure containment. The two removable shelves offer flexibility for sample organization, allowing users to adapt the interior layout as needed. Additional shelves can be purchased separately for expanded storage capacity.

    Engineered for durability and long-term vacuum retention, this desiccator maintains a base pressure of approximately 25 mbar for several months after pump-down with a membrane pump. A precision pressure gauge allows real-time monitoring of vacuum levels, while a safety over-pressure valve activates at 200 mbar, ensuring secure operation when using an inert gas such as nitrogen or argon.

    Equipped with two right-angle valves featuring 6 mm tube connections, the EXSICA2W enables efficient pump-down and venting operations. The O-ring-sealed door and secure latch mechanism guarantee an airtight seal, maintaining optimal conditions for sample preservation.
