ContactThe DRVMDMOTLR is a high-precision stepper motor-driven linear and rotary actuator, designed for integration with MD40 Sample Transporters. It features a motorized spindle drive, which controls linear motion via an outer magnet, achieving a resolution of 0.01mm with a 2mm pitched spindle.
In addition to linear motion, the rotary axis is controlled by a second stepper motor with a gearbox, transferring motion via gear wheels. This ensures precise, repeatable rotation for demanding applications. The sturdy design guarantees stable alignment of all components, providing consistent positioning even in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments.
A Nanotec ST2018L0804 2-phase stepper motor drives the linear axis, while a second stepper motor with a planetary gearbox controls the rotary axis.
This actuator can be retrofitted to existing MD40 Sample Transporters.
