The PGWMS(OMUSLIMLTA) is a highly specialised, ultra-slim pincer engineered for precise sample and tip handling within low-temperature scanning probe microscopy (LT-SPM) setups.
Featuring a dedicated groove, it securely transports Omicron-style flag sample plates. Its key feature is a custom mechanism designed for the in-vacuum exchange of the AFM tip holder on the Omicron LT-SPM carrier: closing the jaws applies a precise squeezing force to release the holder from its seat, whilst opening them ensures a firm, secure fit.
Compared to the standard PGWMS, this model features a significantly narrower head and compact, symmetrically opening jaws. This ultra-slim geometry is optimised for heavily confined spaces and provides an unobstructed view through the chamber viewports during delicate transfers.
