Extra compact, manually activated rotating sample carrier.

The revolving sample carrier transports and stores two Flag Style Sample Plates in specially designed "flat" receivers. The sample plate surfaces are not in-axis with the manipulator in this version, to reduce the size of the sample carrier.
Consisting of two flat, drawer style receiver stacks that are accessible from opposite sides on a rotating platform, this sample carrier is perfect in applicaitons where the wobblestick is very limited in it's angular deflection, but more than two sample holders need to be carried.
This design also can be transfered through tubes with a diameter of ø37mm or greater.
A spring loaded snap-in device stops the platform at predefined angular steps of 45 degrees.
The platform is rotated using a wobblestick.
