    Important Recommendation:
    To prevent cold welding, we strongly advise against selecting the sample receiver and screws made from the same material, as this may cause the parts to fuse together in UHV environments, making disassembly impossible.

    The Three-Point Drawer Style Receiver is designed to automatically position the sample holder plate in a highly precise and reproductible position. Utilizing three additional spring loaded ruby spheres, and three corresponding slits in the sample holder plate, the sample holder automatically slides into place and is centered within the receiver.

    • Precision Three-Point Contact: Ensures highly accurate and stable sample plate positioning.

    The receiver can be Dicronite™ dry lube coated to reduce sticking and seizing effects.
