Why is a Wobblestick Support needed?
The Ferrovac Wobblestick performs best and has the longest lifespan if it is properly supported.
Due to the angular deflection properties of the wobblestick, it will tilt downwards and rest against its mounting flange when not in use. This puts strain on the bellows, can damage the wobblestick's end effector and exposes it to airside damages from accidentally pumping into it as a user.
To prevent this, easily removable parking rails are available that keep the wobblestick centered and protected when it is not in use. There are supports available for wobblesticks in any orientation or application.Wobblesticks without proper airside support might not perform up to the expected satisfaction.

Each magnetically coupled manipulator type has a corresponding support type.
For both single- and dual-shaft wobblesticks the support type is WM.Options:
Tube support options are designed to enable proper support for wobblesticks in all orientations and all mounting flanges.
Standard Option
For most applications, the mounting flange of wobblesticks is in an out-of-line orientation, meaning the bolt holes are offset from the vertical key axis. this is the standard orientation for wobblestick tube supports.In-Line Option
In cases where the mounting flange is in an in-line orientation, the IL option tube support can be used.
