Why is a Sample Transporter Support needed?
The Ferrovac Sample Transporter performs best and has the longest lifespan if it is properly supported.
The thin manipulator tube enables the signature smooth operation and tactile handling feel of the Ferrovac sample transporter, but accidentally bumping into it can bend it or create leaks at the welding seams. This is especially true for longer sample transporters where even the manipulator's own weight can cause trouble over time.To avoid this, Ferrovac tube supports secure the tube with guard rails that still enable continuous rotation and smooth travel during operation.

For both single- and dual-shaft sample transporters the support type is MD.Options:
Standard Option
A very sturdy support option that protects the manipulator with two additional rails.Single-Sided Option
For many applications, especially sample transporters with less than 300mm travel range, a single-sided support rail is enough to protect the manipulator. This also keeps the magnetic coupling as accessable as possible for the user.Tube Support Adapter
