The LSN1.0 power controller is designed for controlled activation and reactivation of non-evaporable getter (NEG) pumps, specifically NexTorr™ D-100-5 and D-200-5 models. It provides predefined, time-based activation cycles to ensure consistent conditioning of NEG elements under UHV conditions.
The unit generates a regulated DC output matched to the electrical requirements of the respective pump type. Operation is performed via a simple front-panel interface with dedicated push buttons, enabling reliable local control without additional software.
For integration into automated systems, the controller includes a USB Mini-B (UART) interface for remote access and data logging. Its compact housing and low weight allow straightforward installation in laboratory setups and UHV suitcase systems where space is limited. The LSN1.0 is intended for use in ultra-high vacuum applications requiring controlled NEG activation, such as surface science, analytical instrumentation and portable vacuum systems.
