  • Upgrade your Thermo Fisher Helios DualBeam™ FIB-SEM with the FerroLoader Docking Kit, a versatile docking solution that expands your sample introduction capabilities.

    Enjoy flexible sample loading:

    • Cryogenic and room temperature UHV suitcase loading: Dock a Ferrovac UHV Suitcase (VSN40S) or a Ferrovac Ultra-High Vacuum Cryo Transfer System (UHVCTS) to transfer air-sensitive samples under ultra-high vacuum and cryogenic conditions.
    • Inert gas transfer: Connect a Ferrovac Inert Gas Transfer Shuttle (IGTSFL) to move samples from a glovebox to your FIB-SEM while maintaining a controlled environment.
    • Standard loading: It is still possible to use a standard transfer arm to introduce samples, maintaining the same workflow as the original QuickLoader™.

    Main Features:

    • Flexibe connection point: Loading with a number of Ferrovac UHV suitcases and transfer modules possible, without removing the option to load with the standard transfer arm.
    • Adjustable support: Features a height-adjustable linear sledge for precise connection flange positioning.
    • Integrated controls: Includes a valve controller and interface for managing vacuum and gas flow.
    • Large transfer flange: Offers a 38mm free inner diameter for accommodating various sample sizes.

  • Core Components

    • Adaptation Package: Thermo Fisher "L-Port" to DN40-ISO-KF adapter and a sturdy mechanical support attachment to the Helios DualBeam FIB-SEM.
    • Fast Loading Chamber: Dual-purpose chamber for standard transfer arm loading and UHV suitcase docking.
    • UHV Suitcase and UHVCTS Support: Frame and sledge for secure Suitcase and UHVCTS docking.

    • Vacuum Components:
      • Mini Gate Valve: Series 012 DN40KF, pneumatic actuator, position indicator, double-acting solenoid valve.
      • Angle Valve: DN16KF, pneumatic, position indicator, solenoid valve, closing spring.
      • Venting Valve: Solenoid 24V DC, G1/8" normally closed.
      • Pirani Gauge: TPR 280 Active Line, DN16 ISO KF.
      • Gaskets: 3x GAKF40CI - FPM, DN40KF, centered internally.
      • Roughing Line Components: IAKDDVVCOMPO, for Helios direct docking adaptation.
    • Control System:
      • Programmable Control Unit (LSC1): with FerroLoader Hub extension for Thermo Fisher HELIOS FIB/SEM, with connection ports for:
        • Power input
        • Thermo Fisher FIB/SEM cryo-interlock
        • PT100 temperature sensor input
        • Pfeiffer gauge interface (for TPR280)
        • 3x serial USB
        • Edwards/Pfeiffer scroll pump (On/Off)
    • Cable Kit: For FerroLoader and UHVCTS connections.

    Optional Components

    • Transfer Arm: For direct sample loading (like the original QuickLoader™).
    • Transfer Arm End Effector: Adapters for specific sample holders.
    • Vacuum Pump: Edwards Dry Scroll Vacuum Pump, 103 l/min (6.2 m3/h) or larger.
    • Inert Gas Transfer Shuttle: IGTSFL, for inert gas transfers.

    Required Accessories (Not Included)

    • Cryo Interlock Kit: Thermo Fisher 1099932, for safe cryogenic operation.
    • Compressed Air Line: 4.5-7 bar, with 4mm push-to-connect tubing, conforming to ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4].
    • Nitrogen Gas Line: 0.5-1 bar, with 6mm push-to-connect tubing.
    • Electrical Supply Cable: IEC 320 C8 to your country's IEC socket.
